Koru ClinicI initially trained in New Zealand as an Occupational Therapist graduating in 1991. I worked in Waikato Hospital and then in Florida USA where I  trained as a Craniosacral Therapist in 1996. I then went on to study Osteopathy in England and graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in Kent in 2000. I had wonderful teachers who imparted a rich Osteopathic lineage, this is the foundation that I draw on daily.

I worked in the UK for 6 years both in my own practice and as an associate. I also worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children and the Active Birth Centre in London, where I ran the osteopathic clinic for ante and post natal mothers and their newborns.

Since returning to New Zealand in 2006 I have worked at various clinics including Stillpoint Osteopathic Medical Centre in Epsom, taught at the NewZealand Osteopathic school at Unitec and I now have my own practice in Titirangi, West Auckland. I love working in my own space, surrounded by trees and bird life . I enjoy being part of the Titirangi community, having good relationships with local GP’s and other health professionals.

I am continuing my professional development yearly particularly in the pathway of Biodynamic Osteopathy.

I am married to Leo Hommel (Classical Homeopath) together we have Koru Clinic and our beautiful son Theo, born in 2011.
